This Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences concentration provides an opportunity for you to pursue moral and spiritual development through the study of religion. You will complete foundational courses in the Old and New Testaments and religious history. (rationale : The Book of Mormon is also referred to as a Testament, but we only deal with that in REL 402)
Each BAAS degree requires a student to have a primary concentration and a secondary concentration. Your vocational/technical credit takes care of your primary concentration area, and you'll take just eight classes (24 hours) to earn your BAAS with concentration in religion degree at ENMU.
Do I Qualify for This BAAS Program?
Our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science Religion Concentration will help you use your prior academic experience to complete your bachelor's degree.
You can enter our BAAS Program to earn your bachelor's degree if you are working on your first bachelor's and have at least one of the following:
- Have an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree from an institution with accreditation recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- Have earned a significant number of credit hours in a career-technical related discipline from an institution with accreditation recognized by the CHEA

BAAS Concentration: Religion
The BAAS program requires you to complete 120 hours to earn your bachelor's degree. Within those 120 hours, you must complete a primary concentration and a secondary concentration.
