The Intensive English Program is a summer program designed for international college students seeking to improve their academic English language skills at an American University. Goals include improvement in overall abilities in both spoken and written English, as well as understanding of Southwestern U.S. culture.

Application Deadline: Wednesday, April 1, 2020

Summer Intensive English Program Application
Goals
At the beginning of the program, students take a practice TOEFL Exam to determine levels.
- Build confidence while communicating
- Socialize and network with greater confidence
- Expand vocabulary
- Improve understanding of grammar
- Improve written English
Schedule
MTWR (Class time) 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (20 clock hours) + Friday and Saturday (Trips and traveling) = 20+ hours a week of contact time.

*Excursions will be based on participant interests and travel availability and may include destinations like: Santa Fe, Carlsbad, Roswell, Gila Cliff Dwellings, Las Cruces, White Sands, Albuquerque, Ruidoso, Taos, Palo Duro, etc.
