The Hounds pulled even after facing an eight-run deficit, but dropped a 9-8 decision to the Cougars in the finale of the North Texas Softball Bash. Kylee Keller batted two-for-three with a double and a pair of runs batted in.

On Wednesday, the Greyhounds swept a doubleheader against New Mexico Highlands by 12-0 and 8-2 scores. Over the two contests, senior first baseman Erikka Burke bashed her fourth and fifth homers of the season.
