A career in accounting provides opportunities to work in a stimulating, challenging and constantly evolving environment. Accountants learn the intricacies of an enterprise's operations and how profits are achieved. Chief executive officers and chief financial officers often have accounting backgrounds.

With the support of the ENMU accounting staff and the College of Business, I have earned membership in both the Phi Kappa Phi and Delta Mu Delta honor societies. I am confident that I am gaining the knowledge and skills necessary today to succeed in business. The well-rounded education I receive at ENMU provides me with the confidence I need to interact well with anyone in business and social settings. Upon graduation I believe that I will have the skills necessary to become a successful in business as a certified public accountant.
