Dr. John Luhman and Autumn Donner
A technical assistance survey was conducted on behalf of the United States Federation of Worker Cooperatives through an internal grant provided by ENMU. The purpose of the grant was to survey worker cooperatives in the United States to discover in what areas cooperatives needed technical assistance and in what areas cooperatives would be willing to provide technical assistance to other worker cooperatives. In the U.S. today there are over 300 worker cooperatives employing over 4,000 people, with nearly one-third founded after 1990. The internal grant supported the hiring of Ms. Autumn Donner as a research assistant to Dr. John Luhman, Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Business.
